Chapter Thirteen

Tyler

“Are you listening to me, Tyler? Earth to Tyler.”

I look down at the computer screen and grin at my business partner. He rolls his eyes and shakes his head at me. I’ve been distracted all morning, but who could blame me? My world was rocked last night by the best sex of my life and working on a new proposal is the last thing I feel like doing. My concentration is shit.

I woke up after a nap last night to a warm, sexy body curled up next to me. Then I proceeded to wake her with my mouth and man what a taste. Best thing ever. She came all over my face within minutes, then I made love to her slow like I wanted to the first time only was too horny to accomplish. I’m getting hard just thinking about it. We then headed to the kitchen and ate the amazing dinner she had cooked buck ass naked. Thank goodness it was one of those meals that could be reheated. We made love again after coming back to bed, I couldn’t seem to get enough of her. When she left this morning for work, I kept kissing her and trying to get her back into bed. She was almost late and sent me a text that she was going to spank my ass if she was. I kinda like that idea. Damn, I need to get my head back in the game but am having a really hard time doing it.

“Sorry man, after the meetings yesterday MaCee met me for dinner, and let’s just say I’m a bit distracted today.” Cash narrows his eyes on me and I brace for the interrogation. I don’t want him to rain on my parade, especially today while I’m still enjoying my afterglow.

“This chick seems to have you all kinds of tied up. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen you this twisted up over a girl. Every time I talk to you it’s MaCee this, or MaCee said that. What’s the deal, Ty?” I know what he’s saying is true, but I can’t seem to stop myself. I really haven’t told Cash how deep I’m in, which is strange because I usually am very up front with him. We’ve been tight since college and are usually full disclosure with each other.

“I’m in deep Cash. I believe this girl is the one. Matter of fact, I’ve known since I met her she was special.” He stands and leaves the screen for a minute to come back with some coffee.

“I don’t know what to say about that. I mean I’m happy for you if that’s what you want. I don’t get it, but hey, it’s all good if you’re happy about it.” I know my friend, and he really means what he says. He’s happy for me, but he’s very cynical when it comes to love of any kind. He had some truly bad experiences in the past that really did a number on him, and it’s hard for him to get close to people.
